Academic and university guidance services
Based on the results of intellectual exploration conducted via sessions, self-reflection, exercises and reading, we help you select the universities and programs that will best allow you to achieve your goals.
After you have made your choices, The Why Connection helps you to manage every element of the application process, translating documents and records and registering for required tests in accordance with university deadlines.
The Why Connection allows you to benefit from its network of professionals and programs to prepare for the English tests which are an essential part of the university admissions process including IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GMAT etc. Workshops in small groups are also available at our offices (optional).
Most universities require letters of recommendation in support of your application. These must be written by people who really know you and can effectively communicate your strengths and qualities. The Why Connection supports you in identifying and liaising with the best possible referees.
Mastering how to structure and express thoughts and ideas in writing is an essential life skill which is absolutely critical to the motivation letters, essays and personal statements universities demand as part of the application process. These must demonstrate a high standard of English expression and reasoning. The expertise of The Why Connection in training students in this area will allow you to stand out from other candidates.
The Why Connection helps you identify and enhance your assets to showcase them effectively in the interview, preparing you well to tackle a hurdle that is often required by leading colleges and universities.
In addition to advising you on the choice of your degree, The Why Connection can support you as your course evolves. Candidates regularly return every semester for a one-off consultation to discuss future options such as internships, gap years, research projects and exam preparation.
